When most people come to frustrated, tired, and ready to give up I make one request. I say send me a spreadsheet or a log of the activity you have done in the past month. I usually get a blank stare and that weird silent pause, you know the one I am talking about. The one where that blue eyed adventurous girl from match.com gives you when you are at the end of a date that was just horrific...and the bills comes. I usually interject and say this "It's ok, that you have written anything down, but I am sure you have made plenty of calls. Do me a favor? Log all the calls you make in the next 30 days. Write down the amount of people that told you "no." This will give us some data to discuss. If you are one of these people who hasn't tracked results for anything in life. Bad news.
